I discovered Alyssa Ettinger's etsy shop via the Neo-Traditionalist, and am so in love with these porcelain milk bottles cast from vintage ones. I would love to collect them all!

I love returning home after a trip to a big juicy pile of mail, and if packages are included it's even better. My excitement grew when I saw the envelope containing my recent purchases from the fabulous shop of little brown pen! I have been coveting their goodies for quite some time now, and finally decided upon the "a message here" photography series, as well as another gorgeous 8 x 10 photo. I'm a big fan of gray, and that combined with my love of Paris is a no brainer! I can't wait to frame and hang them. Check out the shop here.
I dream of owning a bike like this…riding it through the countryside to the local farmers market, wearing the most adorable french-inspired vintage outfit, with Billy in the basket. That might just be the ridiculous romantic in me…but it’s not only in movies…it does happen! This bike and basket can be found at Adeline Adeline, a designer cycle boutique in NYC which caters to women. These are “living room worthy”…and I would certainly incorporate one into my decor if I had the chance. Until then, I will continue to dream.

Even though I have seen these in Anthropologie stores, I just recently learned more about the artist behind them. Leslie Oschmann, formerly the visual director for the store, moved to Holland to pursue her love of reclaimed objects, and the re-invention of them. She uses materials in unexpected and refreshing ways…linen on wood, silk on an oil painting, stitching on canvas. I love stories about people throwing caution to the wind and starting a new life somewhere…I believe I did that in a former life!
I have had a love affair with Heather Moore Jewelry for about 2 years now. I had the pleasure of selling the line and meeting her, so I have a personal appreciation for the thought and care that goes into creating the handmade custom charms. Being a very sentimental person, the heart factor drew me in immediately. You can start with one charm and add at your own pace, commemorating special events in your life. My necklace is continually evolving…true to life!
