Speaking of baby fashion…look at my babies! I think this officially qualifies them as models, along with Eli (a seasoned pro), Sawyer (not in these shots), and Elodie (Henry has a little crush on her)! A casual afternoon gathering turned into a photo shoot for my friend Amy, aka Little Hip Squeaks. Her line of modern baby clothing + accessories is bright, bold, and fun. We had planned on a picnic this weekend, but the weather forced us to remain indoors and in air conditioning. It seems everywhere is hot + muggy at the moment…I like to call it “summer soup”. So until we can comfortably breathe and not soak through our clothing in a few minutes…this fun twin fashion moment will have to suffice. I must admit-we really have the best of both worlds with baby clothes shopping! What did you do this weekend? Do you enjoy the heat?

The countdown has begun…two weeks until the big day! We are in disbelief that it has arrived so quickly, but ready to share our joy and gather with friends + family. I’m excited to share this sneak peek of our upcoming 1st birthday/bastille day party for Henry + Marie! Curious + Co. Creative designed this logo for the invitation and event, and once again took my vision to another level. I have to admit-I started dreaming up the idea of this féte the day they were born! Event planning is a passion of mine, and I’ve been busy driving myself nuts attending to every detail. Since we have twins and know our family is complete, we decided to go BIG with the party, as we’re only doing it once! I can’t wait to share more!

Eleven months old…how can it be? It feels as if we’re racing towards the one year mark, and I’m not sure I’m ready. But ready or not, here it comes. So much has happened in the past month…little miss Marie took her first steps, Henry is walking with his walker, they are eating what mommy and daddy eat (mostly-no starbucks yet), and the bond between them is stronger than ever. They constantly make each other laugh, and they now both give kisses-to us and each other. I’m not sure there is anything more heart melting than sweet Henry spontaneously giving his sissy a kiss…I die every time. Bath time is always fun (as you can see), and these are the moments we want to freeze in time. Life is good.
