It was a thrill to have our cardboard box birthday party recently featured by Minted! They shared it on their blog, Julep, which is a great resource for party ideas, DIY’s, and decor. You can see the feature here, and also on my press page!

I have long admired and obsessed over Bonpoint – the Parisian clothier which has been creating the standard for children’s French fashion since 1975. As you can imagine, I was more than thrilled to be invited by Bonpoint to photograph + review their SoHo store during my most recent visit to NYC. Always a destination for me when in Paris, I was thrilled when they opened the SoHo location last year (making a total of four locations in NYC). Perfectly situated next to Ladurée, it’s a Francophile’s dream, amd I was absolutely giddy spending my day going back and forth between the two. Before even stepping foot inside the store, the Summer 2015 collection beckoned me through the windows. With pebbles and moss highlighting rich indigo twill and printed cotton voile, my mind was set adrift to exotic, breezy locales…
After many years of drooling from afar, I finally made it to the National Stationery Show! It takes place once a year in NYC, at the incredible Javits Center. I went solo, armed with a list of must-sees, and it was so awesome to meet some of my favorite paper people in person (say that 5 times fast)! I was also lucky enough to attend the fabulous Paper Party, hosted by Nole of Oh So Beautiful Paper, and wow – the stationery industry knows how to party. I mean, take a look at the invite! I’m so glad I finally made it to the show, and I hope to return next year, if only to say hello again to my favorites:

I will forever be grateful to social media for connecting me with so many amazing + talented people, many of whom have become close friends. Tristan of Besotted Brand is one of them, and though we’ve never met in person (a west coast trip is long overdue), I feel as if we have. I’m a frequent customer of her gorgeous shop, but I’m currently obsessed with her latest offering, so pardon me while I gush. Created by Tristan + Michelle, Foto Rx is a collection of Photoshop actions to assist with photo editing, saving time + taking your images to the next level! My Photoshop skills are fairly basic, but I do all of my photo editing there. I was worried this would be over my head or more than I needed, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy the actions were to download + begin using. With a few simple clicks, your images are transformed, and there is an action/cure for seemingly any issue you might encounter! Check out their YouTube channel for examples and tutorials…the actions are available for purchase on Etsy. You can also find an amazing collection of product photography resources on the Besotted blog. I cannot wait to dig into my archives and find more photos to fix!
I’ve always been an avid reader of Handmade Charlotte, a blog rich with imaginative kids crafts + design inspiration. Recently, I had the opportunity to meet creator Rachel Faucett at Alt Summit, and was floored by her vivacious and bold personality – her joy is infectious! We had a lovely chat, and she generously asked if I would be willing to be host a local event for her new Pottery Barn Kids products – and I said YES! without hesitation. SO – in celebration of the (oh so cool) Handmade Charlotte DIY kits (one | two | three | four), I’m hosting a FREE in-store crafting event at my local Pottery Barn Kids. Bring the littles for crafting fun – we’ll be making a superhero mask or owl habitat, to compliment the Handmade Charlotte kits, which will also be available for purchase + making during the event! There are two sessions, 11-11:30 AM + 11:30-12 PM…space is limited so don’t delay – RSVP today! If you’re not in the Philadelphia area, don’t fret – this event is happening on the same day nationwide, so click here to find a store near you. I can’t wait to meet you!
