“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014.”
Marie: such a big girl now…and the most polite toddler I know, saying “thank you” all the time.
I’ll be honest, keeping up with this weekly project is a challenge, especially with twin toddlers. I’ve realized that my goal of photographing them both, (together), is too ambitious, especially considering how many shots it takes to get just one good one. So this week, it’s just Marie. This photo was a happy accident–her beauty (inside and out) continues to amaze me.
I love this project so much! My son is the same age as your twins and it’s so hard to pin him down for a good picture, too! I usually have to catch him while he’s watching tv or “reading” because otherwise he will see the camera and run. He says thank you to everything, too, and people are always amazed by it. It’s so funny how quickly they turn into little humans. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, I love it…but it’s tricky for sure! Time just flies by…thanks for your comment Emma.
This photograph of your daughter is stunning. She is beautiful and the color of her dress is so complimentary to her eyes and oh, those rosy cheeks. Your weekly photography project is a challenging one to be sure. You are capturing some lovely moments.
thank you so much Kathy!
Thats a lovely shot of Marie! I have a hard enough time getting one decent shot of my one child, I don’t know how you’ve done it this far! I love her perfectly mussed hair and those big blue eyes. She sure is a lovely little lady!
no easy feat Sarah, lol…thank you! xx
