We had a luxurious and lovely stay at the St. Regis Hotel in Manhattan. A timeless classic, the French Beaux-Arts style hotel opened it’s doors in 1904. This was our second time staying there, for free thanks to hotel points -a major perk of my husbands past work travels! Upon arrival we learned we had also been upgraded to a suite, ooh la la…which you may recall has happened to us before. Not a bad start to our mini babymoon, eh?! It is a great base for getting around town as it is centrally located, and the service is impeccable. I particularly love the French interior design (bien sur) and elegant old world touches…you feel transformed to that golden era. We felt like royalty!
My room shots didn’t turn out great, so I took this one from the hotel site!
Oh so gorgeous…….!!
I know that you had a wonderful time.
Give P our love.
JEALOUS!!! All that travel DOES pay off. You’ve gotten some sweet digs!
Thank you Julie, I’ll give him your love! ;)
Yes, we’ve been lucky!
Wow, you guys weren’t joking when you said swanky! I need to find an excuse to book me and the man a little staycation ;)
Haha…yeah we weren’t joking! You guys should plan a little escape in the city…not too far but if you find the right place it will feel far! ;)
I ADORE that hotel. We did a couple events there when I was a NYC fashion publicist and got to stay in the multi-room suites, I always felt like a princess! I think your photo was terrific! Did you walk down to Bendel’s?
Yes, I always feel like a princess there! We did not go to Bendels…this trip we spent much of our time downtown-Meatpacking, West Village, etc…so we probably would have stayed down there had it not been for free hotel points! ;)
My friend’s husband is the hotel manager there. I wish I had known you were going. xo
you certainly deserved a fabulous Babymoon with your man and I am so happy you are feeling better!
Gorgeous! Lucky you!! Good karma I presume?
You know everyone Joni…it never ceases to amaze me! :)
Aw, thanks so much Ashley!
I would love to think so Kasia…merci!
