One of my favorite things to do is visit the flagship Diptyque store in Paris. I was already familiar with their candles on my first visit, but had no idea they opened the shop (in 1961) to showcase fabrics and avant-garde finds from their travels. They started offering candles to coordinate with their fabrics, and by 1963 they were selling the first scented candle. They are quite easy to find in the states now, but I still consider them a treat, and visiting one of their shops is an experience! I've always loved the black and white graphics, and of course….the scents! My favorite…Roses!
What is your favorite?
Coriandre for sure!!! But I also love Gardenia and Feuille de Lavande as well! Gosh I love them all!!!!!

Those are all great…thanks Sam! :)
Any! I just love their scents sooo much! Walked past one of their London stores just the other day!
Oh my, I adore Diptyque candles…I will spend Christmas in Paris and plan on visiting their store. I might be tempted to try the Violette scented one…cheers, Igor xoxo
Ditto Will…I love so many of their scents. :)
Moi aussi Igor, j’adore! I’ve always wanted to be in Paris during the holidays. Thank you for the comment, great to “see” you here…come back again soon. ;)
I just found your blog by accident and I’m so glad I did.
I was just looking for candles for christmas. I have to admit I like rustic looking ones…but I really love the travel spray of diptyque. You feel home everywhere you travel. The worst hotel is awesome suddenly.
