Well, it’s now *officially* fall, and I am celebrating that by remembering our last trip to Vermont. It was filled with crisp air, wood burning fires, breathtaking foliage, and…apple picking! I had never been apple picking before…ever, and was beside myself with excitement. If you are familiar with Anne of Green Gables, then you understand the vision I had in my mind…and yes, I am nearly identical to that character in romantic notions, dramatic personality, and the red hair, of course. As you can see, I teared up…it was exactly as I had imagined it…the mist, the solitude, and sharing it with my best friend (aka hubby)!
What are your favorite fall memories?
GORGEOUS photos! I especially love #2 and #3 with that beautiful sky as a backdrop. I’ve lately been reminiscing about collecting newly fallen leaves last year with Frances. Fall is so fun!
Could you two BE any cuter?
oh my God, you ARE Anne of Green Gables. And sigh, Vermont. I miss New England.
Erin, thank you…that’s a great idea for Frances!
Aw Amy…thank you :)
Kayla…best compliment-I always wanted to be Anne!! I miss New England too…hope to get back soon.
Oh Susan these are lovely! There’s nothing better than apple picking in the fall! We made baked apples last night and I think it will become a regular this season.

agreed Samantha, thanks!!
I’ve never been to Vermont and I’ve never gone apple picking! Looks like I have both to add to my list. Looks like fun! Beautiful shots!
