Notes
I thought it was a picture of Coco Chanel first… but then I looked up in Wikipedia (like a good student) and found out about that Diana Vreeland (never of heard of her before, don’t throw stones at me!). She was born in Paris by the way. To me, the real elegance lies in the heart and not so the mind but I am ready to be convinced otherwise though.
Mais, bien sur Bernard…that is why I adore her so. She was born today, July 29th, 1903 in Paris. ;)
Such truth, lady! Hope your week is winding down comfortably and that you find some time to rest this weekend. xoxoxoxo times a hundred.
Bonjour Susan,
I sure missed the birthday thing (guys are not good at remembering b-days and anniversaries…). I wonder why I have never heard about her all the while. I guess it’s because we are a bit self centered in France when it comes to fashion and do not pay attention to foreign fashion designers unless they live in France like Kenzo or John Galliano (I wonder if Karl Lagerfeld wears black all the time as a tribute to her).
Passe un bon week-end (”bonne fin de semaine” as they say in Québec)
