positive thinking

This is our neighborhood, and it’s what I’ve always had in my mind as the kind of place I wanted to live. We are settling in, getting to know our neighbors, and enjoying weekend strolls. It may look like suburbia, but we are only a few blocks from the heart of our town and can walk to all the restaurants, shops, and events…we love it. On another note, it’s been a tough few days…I’ve been in a lot of pain physically, with no explanation for it. I’ve had a few tests but no official diagnosis yet…although signs are pointing towards fibromyalgia. It’s the kind of thing that changes your life, but I know I can handle whatever it is with my amazing support system of family (especially my incredible husband) and friends. My posts may be sporadic this week as I deal with this, and get all my work done too…thanks for your patience.

Notes

  1. Oh no :( :( How long have you been feeling it? I’m so sorry, take care of yourself, do what you need to do!

  2. Thanks so much Lindsey…it started Thursday and by Friday night I was struggling to walk. It is scary, but I’m trying not to get ahead of myself before an official diagnosis. I am taking an anti-infammatory med that is helping, and I’m feeling a bit better today. xo

  3. Hey girl! Have you had no symptoms before Thursday? I didn’t realize fibromyalgia came on so suddenly. Well, whatever it is, you can handle it! And, I’m here if you need me along the way girl! :)

  4. Erin, yes a flare up and onset can occur suddenly. I’ve had anxiety disorder since I was a kid, which goes hand in hand, and various pains and migraines for years now. Thanks for your support!

    Thank you so much Cailin…xoxo

  5. Oh Susan, I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. You’ll be in my thoughts, and I’m sending you a big virtual hug. I hope you are feeling much better very soon.

  6. I’m sorry you are not feeling well. You probably overdid it during your move and remodel. I hope you feel better soon.

  7. I love you Suzi – let me know if you need anything at all (…that can be done at a 2 hour distance I suppose). You will weather this storm – you’re such a trooper. {hug}
