Two years ago today, my greatest hope became a reality when I married my best friend. It was a beautiful spring day, and after just a few drops of rain during our garden ceremony, the sun beamed through the clouds. The French have a saying…”Mariage pluvieux, mariage heureux”. It means, “rainy wedding, happy marriage”. I would like to report that it is not a myth! Our love continues to grow…we never imagined we would be more in love now…it’s extraordinary.

Notes

  1. You are a lifetime of hopes and dreams come to realization and I could not imagine my life without you. I am so thankful for our friendship and love. Happy Anniversary Wifey!

  2. Happy Anniversary!!! Goodness that photo is gorgeous. I hope you and Mr. Fleurishing have a fabulous day! How sweet is Mr. Fleurishing with that comment, so lovely!

And I agree on the rain. It rained a bit during our photos (there is actually a photo of us laughing and running to get to a dry spot) and then poured the entire night. I hope that means we have a big dose of luck for a long, happy marriage!

  3. Happy Anniversary to you both!!! I love your picture and I love that Mr. F stopped by to comment. May you always be as happy as you are today. (Spoken from a girl about to celebrate her 16th anniversary, I can say it IS possible!!)

  4. Oh wow, Mr. Fleurishing’s sweet comment just gave me goosebumps. A very happy anniversary wish to you both. Here’s to 60 more!

P.S. Every time I see one of your wedding photos, I am in awe. Gorgeous!

  5. So beautiful! Wishing you both continued bliss and rainy anniversaries =) You look downright stunning in that photo!

  6. Happy Anniversary! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, passion and shared dreams. (And many trips to Paris :))

This picture is so touching! I can feel the love.

  7. You are still like newlyweds and your happiness makes us happy, too. Mom and Dad
